#1 – Fear Of Failure
Fear is a very strong emotion. So strong that it can stop you from making any progress. It can literally paralyze you, if you let it. That’s why you hear people say they were paralyzed with fear. When you are afraid, the easiest thing to do is nothing. And that’s exactly what happens when it comes to setting up your online business. You are so afraid to fail that you do absolutely nothing. You never get started. And because you never get started, you never start the online business you want to start. So you must look fear in the face and just go for what you want. Nothing can stop you by you. So what if people laugh at you and call you crazy. I guarantee you will get the last laugh when you are going to the bank every month cashing those big fat checks.
#2 – You Don’t Believe In Yourself
The second thing stopping you from starting a successful online business is the fact that you don’t believe in yourself. Every move you make in life is based on a belief. Let me prove this point. Every morning you wake up, and go to a job that you probably don’t like, because you believe at the end of the month you will get paid. You see, when it comes to starting your own business, you don’t actually believe its possible for you. Therefore you never take any action. You just contemplate and do more research. You tell people you are researching and learning as much as you can before you get started, but the truth is that you are procrastinating because you don’t truly believe in yourself.
#3 – Procrastination
The third thing stopping you is procrastination. I once heard Mike Litman say that procrastination is the theif of profit. In other words, the longer you sit around and do nothing, the longer it will take for you to make any money. While you are sitting around procrastinating someone else is doing what needs to be done and reaping the benefits. I understand that it can seem like a daunting task to start your very own online business but trust me when I say, it is well worth it. Again, I will quote Mike Litman, he says focus on the reward and not the process. Often times the process it what holds people back. It just seems like so much to do. But if you turn it around and focus on the good that will come out of you doing what needs to be done, you will excel very quickly.
Yes! I totally agree with your post! “Fear of Failure” ” that’s the reason why we are afraid of trying our luck and risking because of this factor, “Lack of belief in our self” Normally this lead us to giving up during the most difficult and distressing times of your life, and lastly “procrastination” that was we usually do, sitting and letting another day pass our way without doing anything. Thanks for the great post. And most importantly no matter how people pounded us down, don’t get affected have the fire in your hear burning and don’t be afraid to get fall and to get up from that fall..in the end it’s always you who would have the “last laugh”.
