Building Back Links or Inbound Links
A link is basically where your website address/URL is displayed on somebody else’s website (inbound link) AND/OR you display somebody else’s website address/URL on your website (outbound link or reciprocal link).
Now, good links are seen as vital for Search Engine Optimization. Indeed, Search Engines such as Google seem to consider them a very important factor when deciding how high up to show your site in the search results i.e. the better your links the higher you will rank in the search engines.
Let us have a look at some of the different types of links:
One-way links
A one way link is a simple link from one website to the other. For example, if you link to www.superteammarketing.com and that page does not link back to your website then it is a one-way link from your site to their site. Of course, this can go the reverse way round.
Reciprocal Links
A link is a reciprocal link if you link to a website and that website links back to your website. You send visitors to the other site and the other website sends visitors back to you.
Three Way Links
Some webmasters believe that reciprocal links do not help web pages to get higher search engine rankings. That is why they invented three way links: Website 1 links to website 2, website 2 links to website 3, website3 links to website 1.
