Step 7. Leverage Your Way To Financial Freedom in a Year

Using even more leverage…

You now have a great relationship with a number of power house affiliate marketers that you can JV with in the future. The original marketer who started you off loves you to pieces for helping him out doing a task he hated to do, and you have helped grow your business and HIS business at the same time.

You are now going to make your own product in this niche. Use your competitors product as a guide and build one bigger and better or, better yet, since you know the Hot Buttons of your niche, create a tool to solve one or all of their problems. You can outsource the creation of the product if necessary. You have the income now to fund it.

Once your product is completed, give your new marketing friends a copy of your product for review purposes and ask them for a testimonial. Create an affiliate program for the product. I suggest you use Clickbank for this since they have a huge user database and you can leverage that user base to your advantage during the launch phase.

Offer your top affiliate marketing friends the opportunity to promote your affiliate product during the pre-launch phase and promote it to your own list. They will be thrilled to be getting in at the early stage of the launch and having the chance to get their subscribers “cookied” with their affiliate code before the product is officially launched.

Plan your launch by doing 6 videos like this:

1. Someone interviewing you about you and your product. (preferably one of your marketing friends) This builds trust with your list!

2. A case study of someone using your system, namely your affiliate marketing friends.

3. A sample of the stuff they are going to learn or the benefits of the product.

4. A product spy photo or video to give them a little glimpse of your product.

5. Another case study.

6. A question and answer video or webinar where you answer questions they may have and overcome any obstacles that may prevent them from buying.

Span this over 2 weeks. On launch day, have all your affiliates and you send out the “going live” email. Two things are going to happen.

1. Your affiliates and you will all heavily promote your product. Your affiliates will be very eager for you to make sales because it is also putting money in their bank accounts. Their email lists will also be much bigger now because they have been steadily adding to their lists the same way you have been.

2. This is going to have a snowball effect. Leveraging Clickbank’s user base and using those affiliates, you are now going to have a huge gravity score in Clickbank and, as a result, are going to pick up tons and tons of affiliates organically because you have a hot product!

Consider how this step will make a big difference; originally when you first started out and chose your first Clickbank product to sell, you were selling someone else’s product and likely making an average of $20/sale. If you worked hard were likely making about 100 sales per month($2,000). With your own product, you may sell it for $47-$197 depending on the type of product and the size of it. You will be paying out a minimum of 50% commission so the least you will make per sale will still be in around that $20 range and maybe as much as $100 per sale BUT each of your affiliate friends are likely going to sell at least 100 per month x 10 affiliate friends AND add to that all of the other Clickbank affiliate marketers. You still only have to work as much as you did to make the 100 sales, but your income will be tens of thousands of dollars more for the same amount of work.

That is the power of having your own products.
